Classes to Begin at Port Isabel Schools

Repairs finished at schools damaged by Hurricane Dolly

PORT ISABELl - The school year for Port Isabel students begins tomorrow.

Some schools there where damaged during Hurricane Dolly, so administrators postponed the start of the school year. The school district's superintendent credits the help of district workers and volunteers for the quick repairs. Buses will also be running as previously scheduled starting Monday morning.
